Protecting Ventura’s Working Hillsides for Land, Wildlife, and Community

WHAT WE DO

Our Programs

Healthy hillsides take steady, hands-on care, season after season. Our programs put that care to work, bringing back native oak woodlands, using grazing to keep the grasslands in balance, while giving people a place to heal and reconnect with the land.

CONSERVATION

Healthy Land Keeps Ventura Resilient

Rangeland Agricultural Conservancy protects and restores the hillsides above Ventura, where grazing cattle, native wildlife, and open trails share the same ground. We're building a future where all three thrive together.

EXPLORE

Connecting Our Community

Walk the trails, learn how the hillsides work, and meet the neighbors who care for them. Our events open the land to everyone, with guided hikes to the Two Trees, field trips for local students, and special events throughout the year.

FEATURED · EVERY 3RD SATURDAY

Two Trees Guided Hike

OUR STORY

The Two Trees

High above Ventura, the Two Trees have become a familiar symbol of home. Their story is about landscape, community, and the lasting connection between Ventura and the land that surrounds it.

Discover the history of the Two Trees and the landscape RAC is working to care for.
